Educational background

 

Dr. Wunsch is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she obtained her medical degree. She completed an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. She then trained at Mount Sinai School of Medicine for her Psychiatry Residency where she also served as Chief Resident. She was recognized with a clinical excellence award in her final year. She Is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Prior work experience

After completing her residency, Dr. Wunsch worked as the Assistant Residency Training Director at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. She then became a Psychiatry Attending at Mount Sinai Hospital, while establishing a private practice in Manhattan. In 2001 Dr. Wunsch moved her practice to Westport, Connecticut where she continues to practice.

 

She maintains memberships with the American Psychiatric Association, The Connecticut Psychiatric Society, Fairfield County Women's Medical Association, and Fairfield County Medical Association

She is licensed in both Connecticut, New York, and holds a telemedicine license in Florida.
